How many AIS reports to a DS3 card and or DS1 card will cause the Automatic UPSR switch which faces the OC-N cards

Hi Pat,
Your question is how many AISs of DS3 and DS1 are needed for switching protection of UPSR(2.5G). Is it right?
If yes,,,,,
AIS on tributaries is nothing to do with OC-48 Ring scheme... UPSR operates btn OC-N connection...
