CWDM & 10GE

Hi,

I have thinking about using point-point CWDM in a network design where fiber count is small between two of our campuses. In trying to look ahead, I'm wondering about my ability to move to 10GE in the future.

I know that switch/router interfaces would need to change on the ends, not sure if there will ever be a 10G GBIC. Does anyone know if CWDM with 10GE is possible ? If so, any idea if this is on Cisco's roadmap anywhere?
