I have 2 7513 that i want to connect togueter. One of them have an Enhaced ATM OC3 SML (Long reach) linecard and the other one a SMI (intermediate reach) is there any issues regarding using cards with dissimilar reach???
The difference between the two is the distance. Basically, if the distance is going to be greater the 9.3 miles use Single-mode long reach (SML). Otherwise, you can just use Single-mode intermediate reach (SMI). I don't think there should be a problem connecting the two.
