Is it possible to change the east west orientation of a BLSR ring without affecting service? For example if you had a 4 node ring with 2 15454s and 2 15327s that were setup with the slot 13 being west, slot 5 being east on the 15454s, and slot 4 being east, slot 1 being west. Could you delete the BLSR and re-create it changing the east/west slots around?
You can re-arrange all you like, just make sure that when finished there is an east/west relationship between nodes; it doesn't matter which slots are east or west, but east must face west and west must face east. While you are making the changes there will be NO protection, so do your work in the maint. window. If you have done good all the alarms will clear.
