how to create a protected circuit across thirdparty SDH with ONS15454E

Hi gyus,

I have a setup with a dark fiber (STM-16) and a couple of STM-1s via a thirdpart SDH networ between two ONS15454E.

I know how to create a SNCP protected STM-1 circuit across the STM-16 and a STM-1 if they are directly connected, but what if one of the paths between the two SDH nodes are running via a thirdparty network and SDH overhead bytes are not transmitted via this circuit, hence I can't create a normal DCC connection across this STM-1?

Hope someone can direct me in a usefull direction.

I am not certain but I believe you need to create an Open-ended SNCP Circuit. The term "Open-ended" refers to the fact that one path of the SNCP's is not reachable via DCC connection.
