NEMI and DEMI bus cable connection - Metro 1500

I just relized the Metro documentation says to connect the bus cable from the NEMI's BUS2 to the DEMI's BUS2. I have my system connected to both BUS1 connectors. I can see all 16 channels, it appears to be working fine. Can I keep it set up like this or should I move the bus cable to the BUS2 connectors?

If it's working I guess I'd be inclined to leave it especially if it's in production. I'm not sure why they would suggest wiring this way but remember the error should problems arise.

Yes, it is working. I think I'll do just that, leave the connection as is. I wasn't sure if there was some technical reason it had to be BUS2.
