Hi!
The ONS 15216 Flexlayer is compatible with the 10G DWDM-XENPAKs ?
The User Manual (http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/ong/15216/flxlyr20/flxr2.pdf) says:
"The ONS 15216 FlexLayer system can also support 2.5G and 10G transmissions; contact your sales representative for information."
Use anybody DWDM-XENPAKs with ONS 15216 Flexlayer?
Regards,
Angelo

Hi Angelo,
I am currently working on a project with Catalyst 6500's using the DWDM XENPAKS and the Flexlayer. We have tested this at line rate and it works fine. We have a combination of SUP720 with the 4 port 10G cards and the newer Sup with dual 10G ports. We are also using a combination of 8 port and 2 port OADMs, with splitter combiners... good solution...

Hi John,
Thanks for this informations. Good to hear it works fine.
We want to make a 2x10G etherchannel between two Catalyst 6500 (Sup720, WS-X6704-10GE cards) over a single (leased) fiber pair.
