ONS 15305 with MGX 8800

Hi,

I want to configure a Lab setup with Three ONS 15305 connected in SDH ring. Two MGX 8800 connected to ONS as provided in the diagram. ONS are connected via STM-1 and I want to connect the MGX with ONS via E1.

I wanted to know if this is a feasible solution.

I wanted to now the min configuration needed to have a talk between all of them. both the MGX confs and ONs confs.

Yes the solution is feasible.

You have to create E1 crcuit in ONS from A to B.

Configure E1 card in MGX.

ONS dont have config like switch/router.

can i connect mgx and router / ONS and router via E1 with ATM encap.

how to go about it. an example or lik to example will be great.

SDH box (i.e E1 )is not concerned what protocol is going over it. if your both end routers have proper configs think should with ATM encap.

what i meant was if some help regarding the configs for MGX / ONS could be found it would be a great help.
