ONS15454 MSTP INTERNAL CONNECTIONS MAXIMUM DISTANCE

Does anyone know what is the distance limitation for the internal connections between the diferent cards of a 15454 MSTP? That is between Transponders, Add/Drop Cards, Amplifiers in the same node.

Its not so much distance limitation as it is power loss....If you go here:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/ong/15400/index.htm

chose the software version you require, then go to the DWDM ref doc, hardware spec section, and it will tell you MIN and MAX power into out of card. Truly only way to do it right is power readings and then ensureing they are within cards spec. If you want a GENERAL rule of thumb, you lose approx .25dB per KM of SM fiber.
