If we want to implement optical fibre ring to connect 5 offices in a radius of 6Kms, than how can we do it if we just have 3660 routers at all locations with serial port available.
What all equipments we will require to implement the optical fibre ring n/w like LIU or 7600 optical router etc etc

I'd use 15327 w/ OC-12 between sites and T-1 from the each 15327 to its adjacent 3660 router. You can implement ring, mesh, or partial mesh of circuits for router-to-router connectivity.
I'd suggest HDLC framing on the router ports and a full mesh of circuits if you have site-to-site traffic pattern. Alternatively, if the traffic pattern is hub and spoke, create circuits to match this pattern.
Hope this helps.

Assuming you own your own fiber plant here:
Option 1: Via a TDM/SONET architecture, you could use the ONS15327 or ONS15454 at each site for full connectivity at DS1/DS3/10-100-1000 BT connections, UPSR or pt-2-pt links. Management is via Cisco Transport Controller (CTC) which resides on the box, you just need a web browser.
Option 2: Via 3550s with LX GBICs, for gigabit connectivity to each site.
Hope this helps.
