Problem creating new user on 15454

I get the error message:

Error creating user

CMSCommFailException: <ip address of node> Communications error (COMM_FAILURE) while attempting to set the SecurityModel::creatUser attribute

After so, the TCC card will auto reset with NO new user.

Can anyone assist me in creating a Retrieve User?

looks like i just had to reboot both active and standby TCC cards to create the new user.

A few questions first.

1. What software release?

2. Are you trying to create the user on multiple nodes at once?

3. Are you using a SUPERUSER account to create the user?

That error is typically associated with a TCC communication problem. If you were successful after the TCC reboot then all should be OK. If you notice this on other nodes, there may be a bug.

in order to create the user i did have to bounce all cards on all nodes...so there may be a bug...
