SFP-10G-BXD SFP+ Compatability with QSA adatper (QSPF+ to SFP+) on Nexus 9300s

I have a need to connect a Nexus 93120TX to (2) Nexus 9504's. The 9300 is located about 2 miles away from the 9504s. Site A has the (2) 9500s and Site B has the 9300. Throughput requirement is 10GigE.  Here's the challenge, as of now, there is only a single pair of SM fiber available between the two sites. I think to myself, not a big deal, I can buy a pair of single strand-only SMF SFPs (SFP-10G-BXD-I & -D) for each link.  Then I remember the 93120TX only has QSFP+ uplinks.  Again, I think to myself, no problem, I'll use QSA adapter (CVR-QSFP-SFP10G) and turn one of the 9300's QSFP+ ports into an SFP+.  I look up compatibility here - QSA_SFP+_Compatibility_Table and  here - 40GE_Tx_Compatibility-Matrix . However, I don't see the SFP-10G-BXD listed as being compatible when used with a QSA adapter on a 9300.

Before I try to explain all this to TAC and see what they say, my question is has anyone tried this?  Is it truly not compatible, or just not tested, and therefore not listed?

Thanks in advance!

J
