SFP max data rate

I have a Catalyst 3560G and I want to use an SFP port whit an Fiber Channel.

Do someone know what is the maximum data rate of the port?

Can I get more than 1 Gbps?

Ricardo,

This is the Optical group so we don't know a lot about all of the switches out there. We mainly deal with the Optical equipment used for transport (ONS15xxx products).

But I checked in the data sheets for the 3560 and the SFPs listed support up to 2gig FC. However you need to be sure the 3560G can support Fiber Channel AND if it does, can it support 1gig and 2gig speeds.
