Kindly check diagram..is it working in live environment?
two buildings connected with Single mode OFC...on both side LIU SC Connector (Single mode) -- On both end we have to connect Router/ Firewall - both have Multimode SFPs.
If your fibre run is SM then your SFP on your firewall should be SM.
