VLAN Propogation Through CTM/CTC

The problem is VLANs tagged on rings with E100-T-12 cards do not seem to propogate, meaning the VLANS created are not available to rings with E100-T-12-G cards. I've scoured the bug toolkit and don't see anything posted regarding this issue. This happens whether I provision the VLANs through CTM or CTC...

Any ideas???

Mike,

You may want to ensure that data traffic goes from an untagged port to an untagged port on any other Ethernet card . Same applies for tagged ports.You can't mix and match.

Untagged --------> Untagged ; Tagged ------------> Tagged.

E100-T-12-G cards need an XC-10G control card. Apart from that requirement, my assumption is that their functionalities are the same.

Hope this helps. If it does'nt , do provide info on how the Ethernet ports are tagged and whether you have a point-to-point connection or Shared Packet Ring topology.
