Why different splitter protection on 15540 and 15530

Hello

15540 and 15530 are same family, but according to docs, splitter protection

in case of 15540 is nonrevertive, but for 15530 can be revertive also.

What are reasons?

Revertive protection requires monitoring of both active and standby paths. The splitter mechanism in the ONS15530 supports this, as does linecard protection on either platform, thus providing revertive switching functionality.
