I heard from somewhere that if we use DID on this particular card, then only inblound call is allowed. It doesn't support outbound call. Is this true? If it's true, is there any reason? Thanks

DID trunks only work for inwards calls, it's nothing to do with the Cisco hardware, it's the way the exchange operates.

The phone company will only send a call towards the Subscriber when they supply a DID trunk.

Thanks. So this is different from DID on PRI trunk. In PRI we can use it for both inbound and outbound. Anyway, so in this case, how can I achieve incoming and outbound by using an analog interface? FXO? If I use FXS/DID card, I guess I can use 2 of them for FXS port, which I can use for outbound, and the other two for DID to be as inbound.

You won't be able to use FXS to interface to the phone company - they only provide FXO type lines.

The best design would be to use one card with 2 or 4 DID lines for inwards calls , and a seperate card with 2 or 4 FXO ports for the outwards calls.
