16th to 30th channel not working

Hi,

I am having an E1 terminated in Cisco 3745 NM-HDV2 card. but only 15 channels are usuable. channels from 16th to 30th is not working.

can anyone help me out from this.

Can you please elaborate the issue.

Are you facing this issue while configuring a PRI. e.g. VG not allowing you to enter "pri-group timeslot 1-31 service mgcp" but allows if you specify timeslot 1-15. If this is the case, first step will be to check available DSP resources

If the issue is like this PRI was working properly before and suddenly these channels have got blocked, check with your service provider. If the channels have got blocked, they may need to unblock these channels

Are you connecting to a PBX ?

You may need to match the voice channel numbering with the PBX using "isdn contiguous-bchan" or get the PBX configured to match the router so the b channel mapping is correct for 16-30 (17-31)

Hi Phil,

you are right. I am trying to connect to siemens epbx with the E1.

where only 15 channels is working rest are not.

i am trying with ur command.

meanwhile if can suggest someother possible will be really helpful.

seems to be a dsp issue.

can you activate timeslots 1-31 in the controller configuration?

the router must give you an error message if you havent enough dsp resources.

can you send your show diag?

The timeslots 1-31 is enabled in the controller. also pasting the requirement of yours.
