We have a Unity 2.4 configured with a call manager. After a reboot the system works fine. But then after a time, when you use the Media Master to record from the phone you get the message 'The specified extension does not answer'. This is the event error that is produced: -

What you are seeing here is a failure from the Unity Call Control component called the MIU. The MIU talks to various TSPs (depending upon the integration type) to place and answer telephone calls. Since your integration is CCM, we'd have to take a look at AvSkinnyTSP traces when this failure occurs. The reason why the call to the desk phone isn't working properly is because of something at that TSP layer not functioning properly.
