We have set up a windows 2000 server and Exchange 5.5 with the nec. order and patches, but when we run the unity setup we get an error message indicating that LDAP was not found to be running on the exchange server yet the protocol is enabled under the exchange admin, we have even tried ports other than 389, anyone has any suggestions?<br><br>
You should just be able to set the LDAP port to, say, 1024. Make sure the port value is changed on the local server in the exchange admin and the "use site defaults" check box is cleared... that's the most common mistake I see here.
If you do that, restart the server, and enter "1024" in the Unity setup during install it should go through fine.
