2600 Router - Dial Out delay

We are sending calls between 2 2600 routers using FXS cards.

Everything works properly, except, the system on one side picks up, but doesn't listen for tone immediatly, we need to add some form of delay in the outdial of the digits. The router out pulses the digits immdiatly upon answer, which is too fast for the destination system.

We have tried adding the maxiumum of 500ms inter-digit delay but that did not help.

Is there some form of hidden command or value I can put in the dial string that will add a delay between the time the loop comes up (the system answers) and the outpulse of the first digit.

Thanks.

Try putting a prefix , on the pots dial-peer(s) where the digits are being outpulsed on the far end.
