I looking at a 2600XM with CCME 3.1 and AIM-CUE and using either the NM-HD-2V or 2VE module with VIC-4FXS/DID and was wondering if the FXS ports have to have PVDM like a AIM-VOICE-30 card so that the FXS cards terminate to?
I do not believe that you need it, but I want to make sure.
Thanks in advance!

The NM will have the DSP resources for the VICs, so you won't need an AIM card... Depending on the codec you use, you might be able to support only 6 simultaneous calls with the HD-2V card, so that might be something to think about if you're trying to put 2 of the 4FXS vics in that NM...

No, the VIC card inside the NM-HD-2V will use the fixed DSPs populated on the NM-HD-xx card. No need for extra DSPs.

Thank you for the quick reply, I thought so but wanted to make absolutely sure.
