2650XM router with MGCP and PRI fails to create dial-peer

I have a 2650XM router using MGCP as the config method. When I start the router and initiate the commands “ccm-manager config server x.x.x.x” it configures everything but the dial-peer. I tried to create the dial-peer manually but it still will not make outbound calls. All inbound calls work though. Does anyone have thoughts on this?

If you are using MGCP, then you do not need to configure dial-peers in the router. The call routing will actually be handled by the Callmanager. MGCP works as a client/server architecture and the router acts as the client and Callmanager acts as the server. So all you need to do is to create the Route Patterns in the Callmanager and point it to the MGCP router and it should work.
