3.0 Configuration Setup

Hi,<br><br>I have the following error message having installed Unity 3.0 using the configuration setup tool.<br><br>"Access to the Exchange Configuration Container is denied". <br><br>Exchange 5.5<br>Win2K server <br>Same domain<br>Unity 3.0 (1.20)<br><br>Unity was installed using the exchange admin account.<br><br>Can you help?<br><br>Many thanks <br><br>R. <br><br>

Where did you get that build of Unity? The patch tool will not be able to patch those CD's but that's not what's causing you problems.

Are you sure that the permissions are correct? Check out this URL:

This is our server. Richard is out reseller who is helping us out. :-)

The CD's came from cisco.

I have tried setting the account to be Admin. , Permissions Admin. & Service Account Admin. in the global properties dialog.

I have also tried adding the account to the domain admins group all to no avail.

The same account was used to install Unity and Exchange on the local machine but not the Original site installation of Exchange.

We have reinstalled everything once (Originally we were connecting to our existing exchange server and got this message so we decided to try installing exchnage locally).

Any suggestions would be more than welcome as I'm out of ideas.
