3.1 to 4.2 VM import

Hello Experts

I have an old 3.1 and a brand new 4.2(1)Unity Servers . Is there anyway that I can import the voicemails (not the database), only the voicemails from the 3.1 server to the 4.2(1) one? If so, could you please let me know how can I do that?

If the backend exchange server is not changing, you dont need to move voicemails.

Or is this a VM only implementation and not UM?
