we are running a toll bypass scenario with two Meridian PBX's connected over a link using QSIG signalling. While trouble shooting a problem I noticed the following during a call set up with the 'sh call active voice' command

I think that it is showing that while it does the media exchange to decide on the correct codec. It does decide on g.711ulaw but when the call is getting setup it uses g.729r8 until the 2 sides agree on g.711.
