I have a 3640 with a voice modules for a VoIP traffic with Voice PRI and Data T1 at the ends.

My question is that how many conversations can 3640 handle at a given time. One PRI has 23 Channels.

Depending on what else the router is processing. CPU load is the thing to consider here.

The 3640 has four slots, so theoretically it can have up to 8 T1's and they can all contain voice. But CPU load goes up significantly with a fully loaded 3640 especially if a few of them are data.

As you mentioned each T1 PRI can have 23 bearers. So if you have 4 T1's for example you would be able to handle 102 calls at a time.
