4 Seconds of Dial Tone Messages

Running Unity 3.1.6 in a dual PBX/Call Manager integration. This seems to appear mostly on the PBX side. At least that is where I can reproduce it. When people hang up after receiving a voicemail greeting, and not wanting to leave a message, Unity records roughly 4 seconds of dial tone and delivers it as a message. Is there a parameter I can adjust to get rid of these types of erroneous messages?

Thanks again!

Re: 4 Seconds of Dial Tone Messages

Ok, since the caller is hanging up while the call is connected then we should be able to get reliable loop-current disconnect from the PBX. Make sure that Adjunct Supervision is enabled for each of the station lines going to Unity. With this, Unity should be able to drop its end of the call before any disconnect tone is played.

Re: 4 Seconds of Dial Tone Messages

There are a fews ways this could be happening. When this happens are the callers hanging up after the record beep, during the subscriber's greeting or are before Unity even answers the phone?

Also, what PBX are you connected to? And does your active switch file contain definitions for [Switch Disconnect Tone] and/or [CO Disconnect Tone]? If so, can you post those sections of your switch file here?

Re: 4 Seconds of Dial Tone Messages

This problem seems to occur when the caller hangs up while hearing the greeting. We are using an Avaya G3R V9.5 PBX. Here is what the Avaya001.ini file looks like.
