5ess vs. NI protocol

Does anyone know where I can find the different features between 5ESS vs. NI protocols? I am currently using Cisco AS5xxx gateway and when I set my as5xxx to NI protocol and when I busyout the channel, service provider cannot see my channels are being busyout. BUT, when I set my as5xxx to 5ess, they can see my busyout channels but I cannot transfer international call. Any idea?

As far as I know, the Switch type has to match with your service provider. So I am not sure why you are facing this situation. Let us know what you find out.
