603 Decline

Hi Community,

My 53xx gateway is configured for 3 dial-peer for the same pattern numbers and it is a sip-ua.

When 53xx receives, '603 Decline' message from UAC, it retries the call with every dial-peer (INVITE with new call-id). It causes the endpoint to ring 3 times. And everytime endpoint has to reject the call using '603 Decline'.

As far as i know, By right, Upon receiving this '603 Decline' response, the 53xx should initiate a graceful call disconnect and clears the call. Is it a config issue or bug?

Please help me, if anybody has the clue.

Re: 603 Decline

post a clean copy of your config. Why 3 dial-peers for the SAME patterns?

Re: 603 Decline

Its for redundancy purpose. I have configured 3 dial-peer with 3 session taget ipv4.

In case first target fails, we want to try on next dial-peer with next target.

In the problem case, call originate from pots (phone number 316....) , and should terminate to voip.
