Hi All,
We've got a 1G (speed) old 7835 with 2G (RAM) and are wanting to upgrade to CM4.1. I've checked-out the compatibility sheet but all that says in the 7835 is supported.
Realistically - is a 1G server going to support 1000 users as a subscriber on 4.1?
Happy to give maximum points to anyone who can point me to a document which disucusses this.
Thanks in advance,
Stu

Hi Stu,
If you read the info' here it looks as if you will be OK with 2GB of memory:

All the best.

Stu,
if 1000 devices are homed to a subscriber (any time devices are more than 500), definitely that server requires 2 gigs. Even more is better. I guess these servers can go up to 4 gigs or 6 gigs. If your publisher is also running CM service, that requires 2 gigs. If its not having its callmanager service enabled, you can have your publisher with 1 gig.

Can I just confirm - it's the processor speed I'm concerned about? I'm happy with the 2Gig RAM - it's the 1000MHz processor which is concerning me.
Thanks Stu
