7905 phones dial extension when picked up "Hot Ring"

We have a handful of 7905 phones on each floor of our building outside the elevators. When a client picks up one of these phones we want them to automatically dial our receptionist. Any way that this can be done?

You will need two partitions:

Internal-PTN, Ringdown-PTN

Two CSS:

CSS-NormalCalls: Internal-PTN

CSS-Ringdown > has Ringdown-PTN

Normal lines have a partition of PTN-Internal and a CSS-NormalCalls

Ringdown lines have Internal-PTN and a CSS-Ringdown.

Lastly you will create a translation pattern that has a partition of Ringdown-PTN and CSS-NormalCalls. The Called Number transfor mask setting is where you will place the number that you want the calls to ringdown to.

The above post is a little confusing. Here is another explanation

-Just create a new CSS with only one partition in it (call it ringdown or whatever).

-Create a translation pattern in the above partition. The TP should be the only thing in the Partition

-Leave the translation pattern blank.

-Put it in the above Partition.

-Set the Called Party Transform Mask to the number you want called when the phone is picked up

-Select another "public" css for the TP that can reach the desired number

Basically you are limiting the phone to only one Route pattern, and that one is blank which makes it dial automatically.
