I have a 7905G with LD0100SCCP021114C.zup firmware. The 7905G file that comes with ITS is CP79050101SCCP030530B.sbin but when the phone requests a download it asks for CP79050101SCCP030530B.zup. What options do I have to overcome this issue ?
-any Allow upgrade even if software version is less than or equal to those of client box.

After the LDUS utility is run, the program will respond like this:
Using Host: Lab_PC-W2K5 with IP : 192.168.1.20 as upgrade server
image found: code -- ata(0x0501,0x0400)1.0
Using dialpad of your telephone (attached to your ATA box),
press ATA button to go to main menu, and enter:
100#192*168*1*20*8000# (to upgrade code)
Pressing 123# will announce your code's version number.
You can later verify that you have upgraded your ATA box.
This program runs continuously; Press -c to abort.

To initiate the upgrade on the handset

Press and hold the * and 0 buttons and the 4th (right hand side below display) softkey

The options are the same as the IVR options on the ATA186 so you can use any of the numeric commands to provide IP addresses, subnet masks etc. If there is any text after the 'Enter Option:" , use the softkey labeled <<< to clear the text.
To upgrade the firmware:
Key in option 100#
Display will now read :
Enter Upgrade Server IP:
Key in IP address of PC running the LDUS utility , using * to seperate octets, and then add *8000# to indicate tftp port number - for example:
Display will clear, then it will read :
Upgrade Server : 192.168.1.20
The XXXXX will count down as the upgrade progresses.
Thanks, this is very useful information. If I plug the phone into Call Manager to upgrade to CP79050101SCCP030610A then plug into ITS it then upgrades ok. The problem is using the PC or Call Manager is not practical in a real world scenario with multiple phones to be connected on site. I also tried creating a lddefault.cfg file and loading on ITS router but although the Phone seems to download the .sbin image it does not upgrade.
Can I just change the file extension from .sbin to .zup without any issues ?
If so, I presume I would need both files loaded in flash.
Ideally it would be nice to be able to load the router with the default ITS files (.tar) and the phones to upgrade without any intervention.
