we want to implement a small VoIP network using a cisco router as gateway and 7905 IP Phones, H.323 based. There might be a gatekeeper or a third party Soft PBX for call handling. We also want to have tree-party conferencing. Is an MCU required? If yes, any suggestions? Is there a cisco product that we could use?
You can use ITS. SUpport for the 7905 Phones comes out early june. The phones will be skinny talking to the router and the router can do H323 with gatekeeper or another gateway. The router can also interact with the PBX through digital or analog interfaces.
