7912 firware upgrade

Hello!

If want to upgrade the firmware on more than 500s 7912 phone, do i need to this in a maintenance period or i can do this on business hours without affecting the network?

upgrading the firmware can take over a minute to complete .Personally i would do it out of hours as it gives you time to test that the firmware hasn't introduced any new "features"

If i know well the new firmware just load to the phones if i reset them. What If i do not reset all the phones at the same time. Are they able to use the "old" firmware until i reset them?

The firmware change doesn't come into affect until you reset the phone.

You could update Callmanager with the new load and then reset groups of phones instead all at once.This means some of the phones will have different loads from others which i have never really tested but i can't see there being problem with this as it will only be temporary.
