I have 2 7912s with the red and green LEDs stuck on at power up, no display. I can't enter any reset commands. Has anyone seen this before? These were spares that had never been powered up til now.

Are you sure they are set-up in call manager? They may not be registering. Check the following website for detailed troubleshooting and repair advice.

Yes, they are there. The phones go straight into this immediately at power-up, which is not the behavior of undefined ip phones anyway.

Hi,
I've had a phone doing exactly this. I send it back to Cisco. Dead on arrival.
This is not a misconfiguration issue. Phone doesn't do or start doing anything and cannot be interacted with.
