7914 anyway to have buttons lit when line is busy

Hi,

We have a few users that have 7914's they manage excutives lines. So they have many shared lines.

They want to see the buttons on the 7914 lit up when the line is actually being used. By default what you see is the phone of hook picture on the 7914.

Is there anyway to also have the button lit like when it rings it flashes.

We would like it lit if the line is in use.

I had the same issue with ccm 4.1(3). the latest 7960 load has a bug. try S00104000100 on the 7914 and P00307020200 on the 7960, this fixed my issue

The bug still exists in P00307020200 but only occurs occasionally I'm told. There is a new 7960-7940 firmware coming out which fixes the problem completely, however it hasn't been released to the public yet because Cisco is still testing some other features.....
