I don't know to configure 7914 expansion module in a Cisco ip phone 7960. Only one green light is in this module and I have selected it in the 7960 Cisco ip phone configuration but now I don't know how I can add more speed dials in the 7914 expansion module.
Under the 7960, select how many 7914s you have, click update. Go to Device, Device settings -> Phone button template. Copy an existing 7960 template and rename it as 7960with7914 or something informative.
You should 34 line entries with a dropdownlist box on each. You can drop down on the list box and select any button on the 7914 (lines 7 through 34, if you have two 7914s or 7 through 20 if you have one 7914). Save this template and go back to your phone and select this template.
In your case since you need speed dials, set button 7 through 20 as speed dials.
