7920 does not have 802.11b configuration menu option

Hi All,

I got a new cisco Wireless 7920 IP Phone, but I could not configure it:

(1) Select Network config, Only got "Current Config", "MAC address" and "Site Survey" but no other options available.

(2) Select Profiles, got "Not Available" message

(3)Select Phone Settings: only "Phone Status" available. No other options such as USB Enable/Disable, Factory Default.

How can I enable or get the other options? Do I need the Cisco 7920 utility software with USB Cable connected to PC to solve this problem?

The Firmware version is 7920.3.3-02-01-207.

Hardware version: 1.0

Sorry I did not tell the solution of this.

When coanfigure the 7920 IP phone, you need to go to the administrative mode. There is no need to have the USB cable for this.
