Has anyone out there seen a problem with 3500xl inline power switches gigastacked (our ver is Version 12.0(5)WC8) to power 7940/60 phones that have a problem with random reregistration events? It seems that it has been happening to us for sometime now. But we can't trace the problem to the switch and in particular we have had TAC involved for some time and they are coming up empty handed. We are using 3.2(3)sr3 by the way and the image for the phone load is P00305000101.
Another problem we have that maybe some of you may have seen before, is a shutdown event on a couple of our subscribers. In event viewer the log shows "the last system shutdown on <date>, was unexpected." This happens to one subscriber sometimes multiple times per day. Dr. Watson logs don't really show a exception that would cause a shutdown so we are kind of perplexed by this. The last log on the sub that is experiencing this shows a exception in explorer.exe but it has done the "unexpected shutdown" before without a Dr. Watson log stating this particular error.
Ok, hopefully its not too vague or chaotic but any help is very much appreciated.
