I don't know of anyone reporting this so far. If you have both hardware versions then one thing you can do is take a sniffer trace of a call with each version and then we can look at the capture with different tools (and even play back the streams) to try to catch any difference.
Can you describe how the sound quality is different? Is it choppy, is it poorer tonal quality, volume issues, etc?
