7960 Phone Authentication Problems

Hello,

I am running 3 Cisco 7960 phones on a private development network. I am noticing that 2 of the 3 phones are having authentication problems when I try to post to them using CiscoIPPhoneExecute.

Normally, in a browser I can make sure that everything is OK, by typing going to http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/CGI/Execute.

Normally, this should bring up an authentication box prompting for user/pass.

This only happens now on 1 phone. For the other 2 phones, the browser just hangs when it tries to connect.

The username is associated with all 3 phones in CM.

Please tell me how can I fix this? Thanks you .

If you go to CCM Admin, and go to the phones that have the problem, check if there Authentication URL is setup. Also check to see if it is setup Globally.
