Attempted to reset a 7970 IPfon using the the "#" during powerup and the sequence "123456789*0#". Once the end key "#" is pressed in the sequence, the fon lights are dark and no other event occurs on the fon, such as no lights or nothing. Is there any other possibility to reset the fon?
After you press #, the phone tries to get a valid address via DHCP with option 150, then TFTP download term70.default.loads and the corrsponding firmware files.
If the steps above fail, you will see the phone as doing nothing, while actually it does.
