I just put in a new 7970 phone and the time and date are incorrect. Does anyone know where to change this? All other phones, 7940 and 7960 are correct.

The newest load from Cisco (TERM70.5-0-3-0s) should correct this. I have also heard that you cannot use CMloacal as the default time zone for 7970's

I loaded TERM70.5-0-3-0s and it did not correct the problem. There was an earlier post about using explicit time zone. I created a new Date/Time Group that used the explicit time zone and not the local CM server time and then create a device pool that used the new date/time group. After creating the new Date/Time Group my new 7970 phone has the correct date and time.

Do  you have the documentation of how to create the the New Date/Time group and the Device pool??

7 years old thread, unlikely that you will get an answer here.

To create a new Date/Time group in CUCM 8.5:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/8_5_1/ccmcfg/b02dtgrp.html

Device pool:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/8_5_1/ccmcfg/b02devpl.html

If you have a different version of CUCM then go to google and type the following into the search box:

"unified communications manager administration" + 7.1 site:cisco.com

The above would pull the admin guide for CUCM version 7.1

Hello guys, is this solution applicable to a CME (uc-520)?

No, the information I provided was for Communications Manager. Take a look at this link to see if it helps you.
