827-4v

I have an office with a 2600 router connected via Frame relay to our Head Office.

I require 4 analogue ports to be able to connect via VOIP to the HO and onto a 5300.

Is it possible to use 1 of the 827-4V ADSL routers to interface to the PABX using the POTS port and then VOIP these conectionsusing G729 via the 827's ethernet port to the 2600 and then to the HO.ie the VOIP peer would not point over the ADSL connection which will remain unused?

This would be a simple and cheap solution as the slots on the 2600 are all used so there is no room for FXS ports .This will also allow us to UDP header compression on the 2600 across the FR link..

cheers
