a call from 7970 is showing "Private"

Hi All,

I am making intenal call from 7970 IP phone to another 7970 & other type 7960, 7940. It is showing "Private" instead of showing "username". Can anyone tell me what I need to do to solve this problem?

Most probably there is a translation pattern that blocks the ID, check the call routing

Do you mean translation pattern block the ID of 7970?

Why other types of IP phones 7960G, 7940 & 7911 call to each others & 7970 are not blocking the IDs?

Where do I need to check for that "Call Routing"?

Pls Advice.

Hi HTH,

I already solve my problem. The problem was -When I add the new phone 7970 to the system, it add additional command "caller-id block" for the phone. I take out that command from that "ephone-dn". It is showing the user ID of the 7970 phone now.
