A Caller phone number issue

Hi ,

I have a gw cisco 2600 using E1-ISDN and R2-digital to terminate voice traffic in the local PSTN. When some call are terminated by that gw the called number can identify my access phone number (the phone number of my E1s ).

Does Anybody knows how avoid it?? I mean , when my gw terminate a call the called number could not identify the access number of my gw.

(like a international call that is received in a mobile phone and the caller are identified like 000000 or Private).

thanks in advance for any help.

Re: A Caller phone number issue

Luiz,

You can use a simple translation rule and block your ani going out to the pstn.

translation-rule 1

rule 1 any 00000

dial-peer voice 1 pots <--- this should be YOUR pots dial peer

translate-outgoing calling 1

This will change your ani to 000000 on the outbound peer and thats what the users will see.

Hope that answers your question.

Re: A Caller phone number issue

Hi Thusain ;

I did the configuration as you recommend, in despite of the test works ok, the ANI continue displaying to destination (I think is something of local PSTN : I'm using E1-ISDN to connect to PSTN.).

See below my configuration (If you have some suggestion , Please tell me!!)

thanks in advance,

Luiz
