you can have 20 connections to AA and 5 to SA at any given time by default. This number can be modified but I don't reccomend it since it'll dig into your voice processing performance if you're not careful.
You can have 20 private lists and in Unity 3.1 the number of users is not limited (I added over 100 to one of my lists and it was fine).
