I have some ATA186 registered to my GK(Cisco 2600).and I have a Cisco AS5300 registered with that GK. It is working correctly (I send calls through the ATA and terminate them at the AS5300) .
I have a client that has an AS5300 too bu he does not want to register it to my GK, and I want to send traffic though the ATA to his AS5300. I read at some cisco documents that exists a command alias static. I would like to know if I could add my client AS5300 with this command and sent traffic with this route ? because I had configured it and did not worked (even though I use the command show gatekeeper endpoints and it appears.
To add this gateway I entered :
alias static xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx gkid GK gatway voip e164 XXXX.......
Where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP of my client AS5300
GK is my gatekeeper id and XXXX....... is the numbers I want to call
I would be very gratefull if some body could help me with this issue...
