A more complex translation rule

Hi, I'm looking to do a complex rule translation on an AS5400 but I can't get to it. My aim is the following: I type 5... via SIP. The call reach the AS. Then I want the 5 stripped and a destination-pattern to send the call. So 5... to .... and send it to the right place. Thank you !

No sweat. Your DP 5 above is an example of incoming and outgoing collapsed into one.

Re: A more complex translation rule

voice translation-profile strip5

translate called 5

voice translation-rule 5

rule 1 /^5/ //

dial-peer voice 5 voip

incoming called-number 5....

translation-profile incoming strip5

That's it.

Re: A more complex translation rule

Hello p.bevilacqua ! Glad to hear from you every time I have a doubt, you're my god !

I configured the outgoing dialpeer after the configuration above like this:

dial-peer voice 1004 voip

description "one proxy 1"

destination-pattern .T

voice-class codec 1

session protocol sipv2

session target ipv4:192.168.3.172

dtmf-relay rtp-nte

no vad

Is it correct ? I configured it like that cause the range of the numbers after the (5) prefix it's so big that it will be changing every time, it's properly configured ?

Re: A more complex translation rule

Done ! This is the way. I configured the outgoing on the same dial-peer you defined and erased the 1004 one:

dial-peer voice 5 voip

translation-profile incoming strip5

destination-pattern ....

voice-class codec 1

session protocol sipv2

session target ipv4:192.168.3.172

incoming called-number 5....

dtmf-relay rtp-nte

Thank you a lot for your help !
